John P. Davliakos, D.M.D., teaches in the University of Maryland Dental School’s graduate prosthodontics program and educates fellow practitioners by lecturing locally, nationally and internationally on implant, aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry. The expertise of Robert A. Cook, D.M.D., in both fixed and removable prosthodontics allows him to incorporate computer-aided surgical techniques to determine suitable patients for same-day post-extraction tooth replacement. Arezoo Bahar, D.D.S., consistently treats patients in need of advanced comprehensive care, involving coordination between periodontics, orthodontics and oral surgery.

Dr. Davliakos received his doctorate in dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his postgraduate prosthodontic and oral implantology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Bahar was trained at the University of London with additional postgraduate and fellowship certificates in prosthodontics and implant prosthodontics from the University of Maryland. Dr. Robert Cook completed his dental education and postgraduate prosthodontic residency at the University of Pittsburgh.

Following the famed Mayo Clinic’s style of collaborative patient care, Drs. Davliakos, Cook and Bahar frequently work with other involved dental specialists, including the patient’s own dentist, to formulate a cohesive treatment plan. They determine which teeth or supporting structures may need to be replaced or refined while preserving original teeth and supporting structure whenever possible. Dr. Bahar organizes and manages regular meetings to discuss current ideas, philosophies and techniques and establish a format to discuss proposed patient care.
