The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore is honored to have been selected as the designated beneficiary of Jordan Publishing's Exclusively Eastern Shore - Lower Shore Edition. We are proud to be associated with Jordan and the business professionals and outstanding companies that are profiled in the premier edition of this beautiful publication.

Located between the shores of the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean, the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland has long been known for its rich history, its agricultural heritage and foremost, a charming quality of life. It is the appeal of a region where people still can know many others in their community on a first name basis that has made this a special place for generations of residents and vacationing guests.

Not as well known, but very important to our sense of place and community is the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland's deep tradition of charitable giving. Supporting charity has always been important to the citizens of this area and all of us affiliated with the Community Foundation are grateful for the trust and confidence that the community has placed in our efforts to help improve the quality of life for all Lower Shore citizens.
