Dear Friends of Hospice of Queen Anne’s:

Hospice of Queen Anne's is honored to have been selected as beneficiary of Jordan Publishing’s Exclusively Eastern Shore publication. The support we receive from local businesses and organizations throughout Queen Anne’s County enables us to provide terminally ill residents with comforting and compassionate end-of-life care and grief services and support for hospice families and the community.

What began as an all-volunteer hospice in 1985 has evolved into a visionary, state-of-the-art organization recognized locally, regionally and statewide for its excellence. Hospice of Queen Anne's is a fully licensed, Medicare-certified agency offering five levels of care—routine home hospice, hospice residential center care, continuous care, in-patient care and respite care—and a new Bridges Program serving those in the community who are still seeking curative treatment for their illness but need assistance at home.

More than 2,200 patients and their families have been provided home hospice care in their Queen Anne's County residences since Hospice of Queen Anne's was founded more than 25 years ago. More than 180 patients from Queen Anne's and surrounding counties have been cared for in the Hospice Center, a six-bed residential hospice, since the doors opened in 2008. This care has been made possible through generous community support, fundraising efforts and talented and dedicated staff, volunteers and Board of Directors.
