Chiropractic is based on the premise that a functioning nervous system and healthy spine are essential for optimal health. Whole Health Chiropractic provides care for lower back and neck pain, sports injuries, sciatica, migraines, adrenal and thyroid imbalances, arthritis, tendonitis, pregnancy discomforts, carpal tunnel and myofascial syndromes. Dr. Michie's practice employs advanced yet traditional techniques, clinical nutrition, physiotherapy, dry needling and kinetic rehabilitation that caters to each patient's condition.

To provide accurate diagnoses and custom care plans, Whole Health conducts thorough patient evaluations and histories, applied kinesiology, x-ray, MRI/CT scans, advanced nutritional panels, saliva and serum lab testing.

Dr. Michie, a certified chiropractic sports physician, exercise physiologist and certified dry needle therapist, incorporates 20+ years’ experience and well over 2,000 post-graduate continuing education hours in sports injury management, sports conditioning, clinical nutrition, disc disorders, whiplash and spinal trauma, rehabilitation, applied kinesiology, dry needling and pediatric and pregnancy spine care.

Whole Health opened in 1994 and is proud to serve the greater Annapolis area. Its strong alliance with Evolutions Body Clinic allows Dr. Michie to provide a greater range of services to his patients. "The arrangement allows Whole Health patients to seamlessly transition from acute care to wellness care within the same complex,” explains Dr. Michie. The practice boasts a caring, experienced and dedicated staff. From efficient front desk service and timely, accurate insurance management to back office detailed clinical support - all facets of each patient's experience are eagerly addressed.

Beyond the walls of the practice, Dr. Michie is proud of his role with Naval Academy Football as team chiropractor for three successful seasons. In addition, Dr. Michie developed the Arts Medicine Team of Annapolis in 1995. Comprised of select practitioners, Arts Medicine Team of Annapolis provides services to the Ballet Theatre of Maryland. Recently, Dr. Michie has been appointed to chair the Athletic Trainers Committee by the Maryland State Board. These roles have provided a sound platform for professional and clinical growth.
