The written portion of each Exclusively Series® profile consists of one, professionally written, 500 to 510 word editorial pertaining directly to the participant’s individual category. The editorial page also includes one, highlighted display quote, up to 25 words and lifted verbatim from the text. The contact information at the bottom of the editorial page includes the business title as noted at the top of the profile along with one address, one phone number and one web site or e-mail address.
The photographic portion of each Exclusively Series® profile consists of one, full-color, full-bleed, professional photograph that is intended to compliment the participant’s individual category.
Participants have two opportunities to invite a reader to learn more about their business by taking the time to read the entire editorial. Because people are innately drawn to pictures before text, the first invitation a participant offers the reader is a creative, eye-catching photograph that shows the reader something about the profile category. An image that is pleasing to the eye has symmetry, depth, movement and color. Exclusively Series, LLC® partners with local, professional photographers who work with each participant to achieve the perfect photographic “invitation” for their category.
With the display quote, a participant has up to 25 words to give readers a sense of what their business or service is all about. An authentic, as opposed to generic, display quote that tells a reader something about the profile category constitutes a participants second opportunity to make a connection with readers. Overall, a display quote that reflects more of a personal tone is predominantly more appealing than one that sounds like a common tag line.
